Our second year now and this is set to become an annual pilgrimage. The weather was kind and we got a full four days on the blocs. Beginning to understand the geography and how the guidebooks work. Just need to figure out how to tackle the boulders and avoid the polish!
Great fun, a good social time with our group, and a real examination of our climbing technique as always. As I write this two weeks on, the skin on my fingers is just about starting to recover. And we've just about finished the cheese we brought back.
Some yellow circuits completed and selected orange problems thrown in. Would be great to up the ante next year.
'Trust your feet! Trust your feet!' was the mantra oft repeated during the trip. Yeah, whatevs! We all know the theory. The thing is: easy to say, hard to do. But we'll keep trying.
